- 1. enter a background at ImageMagick and resize it to the size you want for your banner.
- 2. Click the _annotate TAB_ and type your word/words in the text box. Fill in the _font color_ with a lighter color shade of the color you are intending to use, or silver. choose _point size_, and choose a font from Magick, or enter the url of your ttf in the slot below the choice menu. Once all these choices are made, click the annotate grey button.
- 3. Go to _Effects TAB_ and erase the numbers in the parameter box and type in _5x5_ and choose _blur_ red light button. Click the _effects grey button_
- 4. Go back to _Annotate TAB_ and change the parameters to either _minus numbers_ for _left shadow_, or _plus number=minus number_ for _right shadow_
for example... -5-5 this will raise your word/words up off the annotation to the left, or +5-5 will raise the annotation up to the right, as you see in the example. Now, erase the light font color and type in your font color choice. Click the grey annotate button again, and you will have a shadow effect to your words.
- 5. Output now, or add any decorations etc to the gif as usual. And that is all there is to it.
