This lesson is on how to precisely place gifs using _Composite_ and then precisely annotate your words where you want them.
Using this 4 square gif and these 3 graphics You will make this precison placed graphic with my 3 graphics and 1 graphic of your choice, try to choose a graphic about 100 width so that you can annotate your words around it.
- 1. save the graphics in your account or write down on a piece of paper the urls for the 3 graphics and your own graphic, and take the 4-square gif to ImageMagick, enter it in the 'front door'
- 2. click the _Composite TAB_ enter the apple gif url in the slot, and choose _North West_ from the _Gravity_ and leave the _Location at +0+0_, leave the menu set at _over_ and composite the apple on the first square. Repeat the same steps using the bat and the cat, and then your graphic in the empty square, changing only the _Gravity_. REMEMBER that your graphic is like a map with
NorthWest-North-NorthEast West-Center-East SouthWest-South-SouthEast as the gravity areas. the Location +0+0 is for left-right, up-down placement the _first +0_ determines the _left-right placement_ and the _second +0_ determines the _up-down placement_ They are basically the same as Annotation parameters, which is the NEXT STEP
- 3. now choose the _Annotate TAB_ and place your words like I did in the squares. I explained how to determine placement of words in my Annotation Tute
- 4. choose your own colors, point sizes for the words. This is a hard lesson for beginners, so let me know if you have questions.
