I think Egypt is located in NE Africa. Here again, our ancestor's preoccupation with large stones is evident.
Many believe the pyramids were constructed with slave labor. The latest findings show that the laborers were willing participants. Probably bored senseless, with the invention of Television still thousands of years away.
Why did these Pharoah's build such large stone things? Well, they were worried about grave-robbers looting their burial sight. They were "right on" about that!
I would like to see the pyramids. If they were in Chicago I'd go. But they happen to be in Egypt, and I've never been there.
