I think this island is off the coast of Argentina. That's in South America for those who attended school in the 1980's to present and have not been home schooled.
Known as the "Malvinas" to the argentine people, it is the root of their cultural humorous nature. So funny are these people they actually went to war with England over the island in 1982. That Latin humor, got to love it.
Current population on the island is 36 people and 4,877 sheep.
So I'm told. I've never been there.
