I went to church with my mom on Mothers Day
and the preacher's sermon was about burdens

I know you love me Lord,
and I know that you care,
I have you in my heart
and forever you will be there

You have blessed me Lord,
in so many ways
And I am thankful
for those blessings every day

But Lord, another burden
has come my way
A burden so heavy,
so on my knees I pray

My shoulders are not as
strong as they used to be
These burdens that I carry,
are weighing down on me

Just the other day
I was told....
that you will not let us carry,
more burdens than we can hold

These burdens I will deal with
Your help I know I will receive
That is why I cope with them,
Because, in you Lord....I believe
