I wrote this poem for Linda347
She emailed me and told me
about her son Shane

My Memories Of Shane

God sent down an angel from above,
This little angel had so much life and love.
God delivered this angel at seven after nine,
On April 7, 1977... in the morning time.

My memories of Shane..I have everyday,
God give me these to keep and save.
I love to share them with anyone,
The joy the laughter.... Shane, my son

At eight months old he started to run,
Forget about walking, running was more fun.
Always on the go and got into everything,
Makes me smile, thinking of young Shane.

I would say Shane slow down for awhile.
But I knew he would be fine.
With a tilt of his head, and his face with a smile....
He would say, "Mom I haven't got much time."

My memories of Shane.. forget I will not,
That smile on his face would melt your heart.
A heart so big, how much he did care,
Friends and animals, our home he did share.

At age five he told me the facts of life,
A seed from Kmart, Dad gave to his wife.
So entertaining, the fun would not stop,
The gun powder, funny stories, fireworks that pop.

My memories of Shane....will always be clear,
I hold them in my heart, my son so dear.
Now he is with Jesus, and he's in a better place,
With A tilt of his head, and a smile on his face.
