Their not the first tho, Several out-of-town artist have graced the UZ Studio in recent times but none have matched the costumes of this band. DOWNTOWN BROWN is a three-piece FUNK / PUNK / EXPERIMENTAL band from DETROIT, MICHIGAN and we like-um.

This Music Video was put together for 83 year old singer VERN EDDINS, who was proudly able to ware his WW2 Marine Uniform. He does a great job on the song and the music video takes him to some beautiful places.

This footage is from UZ's 1st shoot, back before the show was even on the air. It was also my first time to step foot inside The World Famous Flora-Bama Lounge on Perdido Key. It was magic that night and I got a tape full of great music by various artist. This tunes an original by Singer/Songwriter Ricky Whitley, who was once a Bama regular.
