Team Colorado came from second place on the World-Team ladder finals. First overcoming the challenge the oft time winner, Minnesota in a close match, they moved on to cut up Ohio winning three in the final four game match.

  Just four pitchers went the route for Colorado; Paul LaCrosse, Dee Powell, Rich Pintor, and Don Wild.

Step ladder finals at Team-World match pitchers head to head, high average pitches high average of the opponents. Pintor was low man for Colorado and literally ambushed the opposition pitching two great final games. His inordinately high margin of victory saved the Minnesota match and secured the win over Ohio even before LaCrosse won over World Champion, Alan Francis.
