
The Beloit Horseshoe Club held the Wisconsin Club Team Tournament this past Saturday and followed that with a state doubles tournament this past Sunday.
Three classes competed in the club tourney. The Goldendale I team from Germantown, Wis., won the Class A title and the Goldendale II team took the Class C crown. The Windy Hill Club of Wausau claimed the Class B title.

B Class Glen Bogenschneider 46.30% and Lloyd Johnson 40.74%
C Class Richard Mullenbach 25.93% and Ray Billens 27.04%
D Class George Kuffer 18.33% and Duane Grosen 30.42%
The Club will host the Beloit Encore Tournament, with 130 pitchers entered, on Saturday and Sunday.
The Team World competition will be held May 15-17 at the Telfer Sports and Activity Center. The finals are at 2 p.m. on the 17th.
Twenty teams are entered from the United States and Canada. Minnesota is the defending champion and boasts current women's world champion Bev Nathe and three-time men's champion Dale Lipovsky.
Current world men's champion Allan Francis of Ohio is also entered.
