September 11, 2001

jesus-wtc In a tribute to our great nation and her people, we offer this page of reminders of what we endured on September 11, 2001.

Our prayers still continue for our great nation and her leaders as they work to fight the war on terrorism.

Our hearts & prayers are with the families and loved ones of all the innocent victims that were lost on that day.

We Will Never Forget!

impact

On September 11, 2001, our great nation came under attack by monstrous terrorists, who dared to commit horrendous acts of mass murder and destruction on our own soil. They hijacked four of our commercial airliners and used them as bombs, destroying the twin towers of World Trade Center in New York City, and a large section of the U.S. Pentagon, in Washington, D.C. The other airliner crashed nose first into the ground of a field near Pittsburgh, PA. Among the huge number of innocent people who were killed, were many New York City firemen and police officers, who were lost when the first of the WTC towers collapsed in on itself. A few minutes later, the other tower also collapsed. The number of those lost in this attack was nearly 3,000.
