**NOTE: I am using a Copyright date more recent then Part 1 and Part 2, (based on same concept) from a post I just put up recently including these formulas. I had a post up at 1:22am same day but it only had one of the techniques in it. From: scarlet09@webtv.net (Pirate Voyager) Groups:alt.discuss.clubs.public.other.scarletimaging Subject:Re: PINK ....CHALLENGE 4 U!!!!! Date: Wed, Sep 6, 2006, 4:25am (CDT-2) Organization:WebTV Subscriber NOPE.YOU CANNOT GET THE SPLIT SCREEN THAT WAY YOU WILL GET COMPLETE NEGATE IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO GET THAT LOOK WITHOUT (HERE IS ANOTHER WAY TO SAME TECHNIQUE ABOVE) NEGATE, CROP 1/2, SAVE , OUT, BACK TO BEFORE NEGATE , COMP/OVER WITH HALF EITHER EAST OR WEST OR CROP 1/2, SAVE, OUT BACK, NEGATE, COMP/OVER WITH HALF EITHER EAST OR WEST OR CROP 1/2, NEGATE, OUT BACK, COMP/OVER WITH HALF EITHER EAST OR WEST THAT IS ONLY WAY I KNOW HOW TO DO IT. WITHOUT OFFSETTING TO SEE OTHER FACE IN IMAGE, ?????? HMMMMMMMM....... ????? SCARLET *****END OF POST****** BASE FORMULAS ENHANCE/NEGATE TRANSFORM/CROP 1/2 THE WIDTH OR HEIGHT OUTPUT,SAVE BACK TO BEFORE NEGATE COMPOSITE/OVER WITH SAVED EITHER EAST OR WEST GRAVITY (depending on which part you used CROP on) OR TRANSFORM/CROP 1/2 THE WIDTH OR HEIGHT OUTPUT, SAVE BACK TO WHERE YOU WERE ENHANCE/NEGATE COMPOSITE/OVER WITH SAVED EITHER EAST OR WEST (depending on which part you used CROP on) OR TRANSFORM/CROP 1/2 WIDTH OR HEIGHT ENHANCE/NEGATE OUTPUT,SAVE BACK COMPOSITE/OVER WITH SAVED EITHER EAST OR WEST (depending on which part you used CROP on) NOTE:** I am using ENHANCE/NEGATE as the primary example for the steps. However, this can be replaced and/or added to by using- including ENHANCE/NEGATE F/X SOLARIZE=100% which is the very equivalent of using ENHANCE/NEGATE DECORATE/COMPOSITE ENHANCE/NEGATE using the CHANNEL functions ENHANCE/HUE F/X TINT PAINT ***Most of these have parameters to them , so your colors will vary according to whether you use bigger numbers or smaller numbers to specify how much color and what colors **For the examples, I have used face graphics (which are very effective) but this could also be used on a landscape, still-life, art deco, abstract, animal, object in general, fractal, just about anything/everything (the less detail the better) WHAT ABOUT IF YOU WANT THEM "OFF-CENTER" SPLIT,,,VERTICALLY OR HORIZONTALLY? Then either figure out the pixels you want Cropped off , with math or experimentation, and save the rest OR use the PAINT technique for figure out parameters. **GO DOWN TO PAINT CLICK ON THE SPOT YOU WANT TO SPLIT THE NEXT SCREEN WITH HAVE A SET OF NUMBERS TO THE LEFT, THE FIRST BEING YOUR "WIDTH" PARAMETER FOR CROPPING, THE SECOND BEING YOUR "HEIGHT" PARAMETER FOR CROPPING depending upon which part you want saved ORIGINAL ![]() "NEON LIPS" ![]() ORIGINAL ![]() "EXOTICA" ![]() ORIGINAL ![]() "SEEKER of SECRETS" ![]() **On "SEEKER of SECRETS" I varied by taking it a step further and after doing initial technique, one of the aforementioned, I then used DECORATE/COMPOSITE and also COMPOSITE/DIFFERENCE at a 30 degree rotation, CENTER gravity and Southernly Offset |
