Hi all. Scarlet Pirate Voyager here with a brand new discovery. This is a take-off on a technique called "SWIRL & IMPLODE" originally written by Nyghtmoves, archived by SpanishLady Rider. Instead of taking your graphic through the steps, you are going to PRE-BUILD a matte in order to COMPOSITE your graphic to. By using a Plasma background that you will make with the steps, you are GUARANTEED the "action" called out for by the effects. "BACKGROUNDS FROM SCRATCH" NOTE: Use PLASMA pattern Just make sure that you get an appropriate COMPOSITE effect and/or choose a GRAVITY to place it in + + + + + + + SKELETAL FORMULA MAKE A PLASMA BACKGROUND (Make it wider than your graphic) F/X SWIRL= 2500 or -2500 F/X IMPLODE= -2 F/X IMPLODE= +1 F/X IMPLODE= +1 COMPOSITE A GRAPHIC ONTO YOUR MATTE NOW. I suggest trying COMPOSITE /DIFFERENCE but if any other COMPOSITE EFFECTS work for you, then use them. From the results so far, COMPOSITE/HARDLIGHT for some reason wipes out the "ACTION" you made in the Plasma background before Compositing the graphic so beware... FINISH UP AS YOU LIKE USING EFFECTS FROM "ENHANCE", "EFFECTS", "DECORATE", "ANNOTATE," ETC. **NOTE: THE COLORS CONVERGE FROM THE "CIRCLE" YOU MADE WITH YOUR SWIRL IN THE MIDDLE. IF THIS CONFLICTS WITH YOUR COMPOSITING OUTCOME, THEN JUST CHANGE GRAVITY TO EAST OR WEST ON YOUR COMPOSITE AND YOU WILL BE SURPRISED AT THE DIFFERENCE HENCE THE REASON WHY MAKING THE BACKGROUND WIDER. + + + + + + + ORIGINAL ![]() ROBO ANGEL ![]() ORIGINAL ![]() APOLLO ECLIPSE ![]() + + + + + + + TE NAMASTE, SCARLET PIRATE VOYAGER |
