Using COMPOSITE/DSTIN

Hi All...PIRATE VOYAGER here..
Bringing you another TECHNIQUE in which to express your
XTREME IMAGING style.
After some experimentation, using DECORATE and COMPOSITE I have come across a new "LOOK" that I hope you also like and will use

EXPLANATION

For those of you who like explanations in technical terms,

COMPOSITE = DSTIN
The part of the destination lying inside of the source replaces the destination.

Wherever you are PLACING your Compositing Factor url, will be the area shown.
The other areas will not.
NOTE: Don't forget, we also have a rather large border now that will show outside of this area.
You should wind up with
BEVELLING from Raising/Sinking in increments
and
ANGLING from stipulating Rotate

For those of you who could give a darn about explanations but just want
TO DO
Then move ahead and let's get going...:-)

BASIC STEPS

1) ADD BORDER
You can add a border with WIDTH or you can add one with WIDTH and HEIGHT
ie. DECORATE 40X0 white border/frame
OR ie. DECORATE 40X40 white border/frame

2) RAISE or SINK in descending increments
ie. If increments of 10 pixels, then it would be for above example,
40X40 RAISE, 30X30 RAISE,20X20 RAISE,10X10 RAISE

3) COMPOSITE/DSTIN USING ROTATE
Depending on whether you use RAISE or SINK,
COMPOSITE ALONG WITH ANGLE in which to best utilize the overall matte of the graphic which you are using. Play around. Try using POSITIVE ANGLE ie. 15 OR NEGATE ANGLE ie. -15
4) You can also use OFFSET in order to place your image in the optimal spot, making use of what you want to be "SEEN" or "CUT OFF" by COMPOSITE/DSTIN
5) Finish off with ENHANCE functions of your choice
***You can also add more DECORATE effects here, ie. a border, frame , raise /sink
Annotate your name and

WALLAH

You have a very UNIQUE image!!!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Re: RAISING /SINKING
YOU CAN ALSO ALTERNATE BETWEEN RAISING AND SINKING. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO JUST ONE OR THE OTHER

YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOUR BEVELED ANGLES VISIBLE SO EITHER MAKE SURE YOU ADD A BORDER/FRAME THAT YOU BEVEL
THIS WAY CHANGES TO ORIGINATING IMAGE WILL JUST AFFECT THAT PART OF MATTE AND NOT COVER YOUR BEVEL

***IMPORTANT!!
ADD BEVEL JUST BEFORE YOUR COMP/DSTIN AND DON'T COVER UP WITH OTHER EFFECTS

ANOTHER GOOD WAY IN ORDER TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BEVELED LOOK IS TO -USE OFFSET FOR THE DSTIN COMP MOVE IT AROUND AND ENHANCE THAT PART OF THE BEVEL YOU MADE

WHEN YOU ADD A BORDER, ADD A COLORED ONE THAT WAY BEVELS WILL BE DIFFERENT COLORS OF THE SAME PRIMARY YOU CHOSE

AFTER YOU DO YOUR COMP/ROTATE, YOU CAN ALSO THEN ADD ANOTHER "BEVELLED" BORDER/FRAME

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE ALOT OF FUN WITH THIS...
KEEP ON "XTREME IMAGING"
