 I can't believe I am really in Paris. Here I am at the Louvre having a bit of French Champagne. I wanted to let them know I was here. You don't think they will get mad at me for signing their wall, do you?   From The Louvre it was only a short flight to the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral. Don't you love this architecture? Can you believe it took about 200 years to build this. They finally finished it in 1345, but it has been restored several times. Wow, that was way before my time! I wonder if my Tweety ancestors came here when they were building it?  I'm sure you recognize the Eiffel Tower. This place is so cool! As you probably noticed, I got dressed so I would look like a tourist. I want to go in and go clear to the top, but if they know I'm just a poor little birdie, they wont let me in. Can you believe that? Gotta go get in line. See ya later.  I am sitting on the Arch de Triomphe watching all the traffic go by below me on the Champs-Elysees. Unless you can fly like me, you have to get to here by way of an underground passage. This is so pretty watching all the lights. Maybe this is why they call Paris "The City of Light". I am going to perch here for the night, so I can get an early start tomorrow. I am off to my next destination. So I'll see you there. Love, Tweety |
