HAM AND BEAN SOUP


2 lb. Navy beans, soaked & drained

5 cups ham, chopped into bite size pieces. OR 1 meaty ham bone.

1 medium potato, chopped

1 carrot, chopped or shredded

2 stalk of celery, chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cans French Onion soup

2 tsp. chicken bouillon





Put all ingredients in crock pot and cover
with water. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
When done,if you used a hambone,
remove bone and cut meat into bite
size pieces, and return to beans. This can
also be simmered on the stove for 4 to 5 hours,
stirring occasionally.
