Hi! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Star and I'm here with Gabby, my miniature schnauzer. When I
originally made this page, she and I used to hang out together as
much as possible in the garden, where I grew wildflowers and lots
of herbs on a hill overlooking Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley. When
we needed to rest, we would sit by the pond and watch the goldfish,
squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits, and listen to all kinds of birds.
We hung lots of houses and feeders for our feathered friends so
they would stay near the gardens and eat the bugs. In the wall of
the herb garden lived "Toadie", who devoured so many lightning bugs
that his hole-in-the-wall would light up at night with fluorescent
guano. He was big and fat and looked like Java the Hut.
