Biographical Notes

Bill Gallaher was born and raised in Vancouver and has had jobs ranging from wrestling a bear to teaching high school. In 1983, he moved to Ireland where his hobby of song writing and guitar playing evolved naturally into performing. He played in and around the Dublin area until his return to Canada in 1984. Moving to Vancouver Island, he began writing songs about Canada and co-produced eight albums with Jake Galbraith that have been aired on radio throughout North America and the United Kingdom. Over a dozen of Bill's songs have been recorded by other artists.
