Sailor's Forced Retirement Tax Payers Blues Biographical Notes Gary Callahan was born in Corner Brook, NL, and moved with his parents to Stephenville when he was ten. He started playing music very young and, when old enough, moved to Alberta and played for a few years with several bands. Yearning for most of his family back home, Gary returned in the early 90s. He lived in Grand Falls-Windsor where he met songwriter Everett Adams who wrote songs which suited his singing style. Gary and Everett collaborated on two albums, After The Rain and Death On The Ice. |
