Now when I was a young lad in first grade,
Had a crush on a girl named Marie;
She was so cute with pigtails and freckles,
And a hole where her teeth used to be;
And she only had eyes for Bugs Willy,
And he carried 'round bugs in a jar;
You'd think I never existed,
I might of have been from mars.

But I knew to win her affection,
I had to be cute as a fox;
So I got me a big ol' black beetle,
And I slipped it inside her lunch box;
Of course, she blamed it on Willy,
She said he was just a big sook;
She took my hand, now I was her man,
Sure I'm not as stun as I looks.

Oh, I'm not as stun as I looks,
No, I'm not as stun as I looks;
Everyone knows by the shape of the face,
You can't tell the saints from the crooks;
But you can tell I ain't no Einstein,
Got no edu-ma-cation from books;
You'll never pull the wool over my eyes,
'Cause I'm not as stun as I looks.
No, I'm not as stun as I looks.

Soon I became a teenager,
Knew something strange was amiss;
'Cause even when I was around girls,
Got this God-awful urge to be kissed;
One night she phoned, said, come over,
We were watching some shows on TV;
My parents are gone out to bingo,
And there's just my sister and me.

Well, I shot through the door like a bullet,
Was soon sitting 'tween both of them;
I noticed my girl on the plump side,
While her sister was so nice and slim;
I told her to watch what she's eating,
That when she laughed how she shook;
She stomped off to bed,
I kissed her sister instead,
No, I'm not as stun as I looks.

Oh, I'm not as stun as I looks,
No, I'm not as stun as I looks;
Everyone knows by the shape of the face,
You can't tell the saints from the crooks;
But you can tell I ain't no Einstein,
Got no edu-ma-cation from books;
You'll never pull the wool over my eyes,
'Cause I'm not as stun as I looks.
No, I'm not as stun as I looks.

Now that I've grown into manhood,
I went out and bought her a ring;
Said, Darling, it's time we got married,
We can have us a baby by spring;
She patted me head like a crackie,
Said, Dick, you're some kinda dear;
But I'm really not ready for marriage,
I got to think of my career.

But later that week I got lucky,
Won two million on 649;
Boy, it's simply amazing,
How quickly they can change their mind;
She called and said, Hon, I been thinkin',
Maybe it's time we got hooked;
Well, I took the ring and I gave it a fling,
Sure, I'm not as stun as I looks.
No, I'm not as stun as I looks.

Oh, I'm not as stun as I looks,
No, I'm not as stun as I looks;
Everyone knows by the shape of the face,
You can't tell the saints from the crooks;
But you can tell I ain't no Einstein,
Got no edu-ma-cation from books;
You'll never pull the wool over my eyes,
'Cause I'm not as stun as I looks.
No, I'm not as stun as I looks.

[Fading:]
Oh, I'm not as stun as I looks,
No, I'm not as stun as I looks;
Everyone knows by the shape of the face,
You can't tell the saints from the crooks;
But you can tell I ain't no Einstein,
Got no edu-ma-cation from books;
You'll never pull the wool over my eyes…

From the Dictionary of Newfoundland English:
Crackie - small, noisy mongrel dog; frequently in phrase 'saucy as a cracky,' applied to a person who usually has a saucy tongue or a person who will answer back.

From Wikipedia:
Einstein - Albert Einstein [1879-1955] was a German-born theoretical physicist. Einstein's work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science. He developed the general theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). Einstein is best known in popular culture for his mass-energy equivalence formula E=mc2 (which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation"). He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his "services to theoretical physics", in particular his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect, a pivotal step in the evolution of quantum theory.
