White, snow-filled valleys
where the frozen rivers wind;
Long days we would travel
over miles and miles of snow,
That was a long, long time ago.

We'd camp below the mountain
by a sleeping stream,
Watch the fires dancing
as we talked about our dreams;
Then we'd plan tomorrow
in the candle glow,

Remember that old mountain
we planned to climb someday,
We kept waiting for the right time
but time just slipped away;
So many, many mountains
still waiting to be climbed,
All we need is time.

Silent trails of winter just a memory,
I can still remember the way we used to be;
Snowshoes gently swaying over drifting snow,
