Beauty By The Sea (Labrador Black Spruce) video

As I sit and watch the sun go down,
In beauty by the sea,
And the shades creep up on a perfect day,
Yet you spared not a glance to see.

A thousand salmon may leap the falls,
Their journey almost done,
The rich and great have spent millions to see,
My friend, I hope you see one.

Have you camped at dusk,
by a murmuring stream,
On a silent, moonlit lake,
Beneath a towering mountain,
Where silvery aspen quake?

A few of the things we've known and loved,
Where we have played and toiled,
Now we open the door to the warmth and light,
Supper laid and the kettle boiled.

It's early to rise at the dawn's first light,
The harbour lights shine clear;
Winter snow stole down in the dead of night,
And a trembling silence is near.

Have you camped at dusk,
by a murmuring stream,
On a silent, moonlit lake,
Beneath a towering mountain,
Where silvery aspen quake?

Have you camped at dusk,
by a murmuring stream,
On a silent, moonlit lake,
Beneath a towering mountain,
Where silvery aspen quake?
Beneath a towering mountain,
Where silvery aspen quake?
