Christmas wouldn't be the same as Christmases of old,
If old Saint Nick and all his reindeer stayed up at the pole;
And look at all the love and laughter we would be without,
Well, isn't that what Christmases should be all about?
Santa ain't old-fashioned, he's as real as he can be,
Don't be fooled by his white beard, he hasn't aged a day;
He knows everybody's business, including yours and mine,
And there's never been a chimney old Santa Claus can't climb.
Joy sent down from heaven by a baby in a crib,
Peace to spread around the world with gifts of love to give;
Oh, God he needed someone to get to me and you,
So he gave the job of Christmastime for Santa Claus to do.
Oh, Santa ain't old-fashioned, he's as real as he can be,
Don't be fooled by his white beard, he hasn't aged a day;
He knows everybody's business, including yours and mine,
And there's never been a chimney old Santa Claus can't climb.
This world it has so many things that you and I can't see,
We hope will help him guide and send the courage to believe;
When we give our gifts at Christmastime take a moment to recall,
That faith and hope and charity old Santa has them all.
Santa ain't old-fashioned, he's as real as he can be,
Don't be fooled by his white beard, he hasn't aged a day;
He knows everybody's business, including yours and mine,
And there's never been a chimney old Santa Claus can't climb.
There's never been a chimney old Santa Claus can't climb.
