When the sun rises over these hills,
Shining down on the water so still,
It'll make you stop just for a while,
And feel the feast deep down inside.
This place we call our home,
Here in Bay d'Espoir,
Far away from the famine and the war-torn land,
A reminder how lucky we are.
There's so many things you can do here,
In this place we all love so well,
Surrounded by water and wide open country,
The pleasure is all yours to chew.
Sometimes we like to cruise out the bay,
And sit on some sandy beach,
Or head on out into our back country,
To a cabin down by the lake.
This quiet, peaceful paradise,
Her treasure can never compare,
Her wildlife, rivers and streams,
And four seasons we come to endure.
This place we call our home,
Here in Bay d'Espoir,
Far away from the famine and the war-torn land,
A reminder how lucky we are.
There's so many things you can do here,
In this place we all love so well,
Surrounded by water and wide open country,
The pleasure is all yours to chew.
In this place we call home.
Place we call home.
Place we call home.
