There is a valley not far from Goose Bay,
Where the great Churchill River flows by the way;
It's a place that I cherish in my memory,
That Labrador valley called Happy Valley.

The home of the hunter and brave native man,
And all races of people from far distant lands,
Live in the valley in such harmony,
There are no strangers in Happy Valley.

Its white silver sand where the big river flows,
And nature is playing songs it composed;
The whispering winds among the spruce trees,
Spread songs of welcome to Happy Valley.

I've seen all the bright lights of the cities so grand,
And lived for a while in far distant lands;
For thousands of miles I've sailed o'er the sea,
But none can compare with Happy Valley.

Its white silver sand where the big river flows,
And nature is playing songs it composed;
The whispering winds among the spruce trees,
Spread words of welcome to Happy Valley.

The whispering winds among the spruce trees,
Spread songs of welcome to Happy Valley.
