Well, the price of fuel is gone up; can't afford to buy no more,

With quotas down and catches up as summer comes along,
The mighty queen that once was king she's sellin' for a song.

Well, the money that once was made is goin' out the door,
Can't keep no crew or gear, boys, can't stay on course no more;
If she keeps on goin' downhill can't see no light ahead,
Gonna have to hang the oilskins and head out west instead.
