In Pass Island Tickle the ghost skiffs of time,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day;
A fear in their eyes as they make up their minds,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day.

Ho, roly oh, ditty die day,
The big ones they rumble and tumble and spray;
And the baccy juiced lips of the fishermen pray,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day.

It's cold and it's lonely way out on the brine,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day;
But for seagull and eggdown tis a playground so fine,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day.

Ho, roly oh, ditty die day,
The big ones they rumble and tumble and spray;
And the baccy juiced lips of the fishermen pray,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day.

The widow's wet cheeks and her sobs and her moans,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day;
No pine boards to carry the poor weary bones,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day.

Ho, roly oh, ditty die day,
The big ones they rumble and tumble and spray;
And the baccy juiced lips of the fishermen pray,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day.

They were heavin' their thunder before Cabot's time,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day;
And I know they'll be rollin' down long after mine,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day.

Ho, roly oh, ditty die day,
The big ones they rumble and tumble and spray;
And the baccy juiced lips of the fishermen pray,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day,
Holy oh roly oh ditty die day.
