Port Rexton (Barry Dewling)

There's a little piece of heaven that I long to see,
A tiny little cove that stays in memory;
And when I go to visit I'd stay there if I could,
The little town we all know well, we once called Robinhoods.

Down Port Rexton way, the little outport town,
I feel right at home here whenever I come 'round;
I'll walk the beach all summer, not caring if it rained,
I wish that I could stay here and never leave again.

Where the people are so friendly, they'll treat you all the same,
The Randells and the Baillys, no matter what the name;
They'll welcome you so dearly, you'll never feel ashamed,
To say you're from Port Rexton, the place I'd love to stay.

[Spoken] I remember as a boy when my mom and dad,
Took me to Port Rexton to visit their homeland...
I fell in love right away with this tiny little cove,
And I decided right then and there this is where I'll call my home.

Where the people are so friendly, they'll treat you all the same,
The Clarkes and the Bannisters, no matter what the name;
They'll welcome you so dearly, you'll never feel ashamed,
To say you're from Port Rexton, the place I'd love to stay.

Tha little town we call Port Rexton is the place I'd love to stay.
