Fun In Newfoundland (Kimberly Jones)

Come listen to my story,
About the kids of Newfoundland;
They have fun out playing,
In the sea and in the sand.

Squid jiggin' can be hard work,
And also lots of laughs;
So can working on a farm,
And playing with the calves.

Ice fishing in the winter,
And riding on Ski-Doo;
Hiking in the summer,
Watching moose and caribou.

While Dad's gone out fishing,
Mom makes quilts by hand;
The kids have fun out playing,
In the sea and in the sand.
