When you reach that place you've searched for all this time,
Just take a look around you, tell me what you find;
All those things you want, or should I say, you need,
You had 'em all along right here, disguised as me.
I just don't understand, we'd planned it out so well,
And now you want to leave and throw it all to hell.
Love is hard to find and shouldn't be abused,
We often enter blind and sometimes leave confused;
Oh, we were on our way, dreams were coming true,
Right up till the change that took control of you.
I just don't understand, we'd planned it out so well,
And now you want to leave and throw it all to hell.
I went though some old photographs, the highlights of my life,
And I found only two of me without my wife.
