Where the wind blows tonight I will follow,
Like the raindrops that fall from the sky;
Like the dust in a cloud that has nowhere to go,
I will go with the wild wind tonight.
Like the leaf from a tree that has fallen,
At the end of a warm, summer breeze;
I will go heart and soul where the wild breezes blow,
And I hope they can still carry me.
I can still see the light in my window,
Where I thought the world wouldn't come to an end;
Now I'm walking alone where a shadow of stone,
Follows me as I follow the wind.
Where the wind blows tonight I will follow,
Like the raindrops that fall from my eyes;
Like a seed in the snow that has no place to grow,
I will go with the wild wind tonight.
Like a bird on one wing I have fallen,
To a place where nobody can see;
I will go heart and soul where the wild winds blow,
And I hope they can still carry me.
I can still see the light in my window,
Where I thought the world wouldn't come to an end;
Now I'm walking alone where a shadow of stone,
Follows me as I follow the wind.
