The Bald Eagle was officially adopted as the United States National Emblem on June 20, 1782. The term "bald" is an old english term meaning white. The average life span of bald eagles in the wild is over 30 years and much longer when in captivity. The female bald eagle is larger than the male and her wing span can reach outwards to eight feet.
We dedicate this Bald Eagle Show to all of our Nation's Armed Force Units.
