Mouse on Wheels
YIKES!
Way back in history there was a caveman named....ummm....lets call him MrSandGrog....Grog for short.
Well life was ok for Grog but on a bright sunny tuesday afternoon while Grog was washing rocks he was startled by a stampede of dinosaurs.
Well Grog ran his loin cloth off but was run over by the herd anyway.
Grog grunted loudly ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! i'm tired of getting trampled.
Grog needed transportation and he needed it fast if he ever wanted to see the upcoming ice age.
Grog worked day and night hardly ever coming out of his cave,which really upset his family.
When he finally emerged from the cave and gave a loud grunt...kinda like Tim Allen.
I DID IT! I DID IT!!! he yelled.
He gathered all the cave clan around his cave and said he has come up with a new invention that will keep the dinosaur foot prints off of our backs.
I made a wood deck with a harness which we hook up to a team of dinos and when the dinosaur stampede happens we all jump on and haul butt outta here....er ummm we split dudes and duddetts.
I made something to make the platform move freely and that new invention i call the Square.
Well all the people jumped with glee.
The following day while Grog was washing rocks he heard the thunder of a Dinosaur stampede and hurried everyone onto his new ride....er....moving platform.
Grog yelled the command to his team ON DONNER ON BLITZ...umm wrong story :-)
Grog yelled the command to his team LET's BOOGEY BOYS and away they went.
Well the square wheels shot everyone out of the cart and as he watched the fat village elder roll down the side of the mountain he had a vision.
Well Grog went back to the cave and worked through the night and when morning came he came out shouting I DID IT I SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!!!
Everyone gathered around as he drug out his new updated invention.
My new invention is the wheel.
From that day forward the wheel has made it into almost every invention and Grog should of took out a patent but screwed up.
So when you look at that little wheel on your mouse please think of the hardships of a little known cave dweller who helped bring us closer to the future.
I named my mouse wheel Grog in honor of it's creator.

Some people have looked at that funny little wheel and asked what that does stuck in a mouse??
Well as i find out i will be writting it down here below so all can see what wonders come from the invention that was brought about by a little cave dweller millions of years ago.
Ok you probably know that the little wheel on the mouse when petted will scroll the page with speed.
But did you know that while looking at a text page with small print that you can hold down the Ctrl key and move the wheel to zoom in and out to make reading a whole lot better.
