How to Prepare a Great Thanksgiving Dinner

Step 1:Go to your friendly neighborhood Supermarket.
Before i go into the store i double check the billfold to see how much money i have,Cause that tells me how big a bird i'm getting.~grin~ I LOVE TURKEY.
As i look at all the different birds to choose from i have to say i like butterball the best.
MMMMMM Butterball....even sounds big.
I pick the biggest turkey i can find.....No not the stock boy.
I put the Turkey in the childs seat in the cart....hey they like that.
After a couple cart races with some kids who egged me on to a race,it's time to take Luke home to meet the family LOL Ok i named the bird Lucky Luke cause we won our races.
Luke this is my wife and three kids......kids? say hi to Luke.
Then i pop Luke into the freezer

Step 2:Put Luke into the fridge to thaw the day before.

Step 3:Make a list of all the stuff you forgot to get cause of the cart races ~Tee Hee Hee Hee~.

Step 4:Get the plastic off of Luke and it's time to wash Luke.....i use Dove beauty bar cause of the bird thing ya know.
Be sure to wash under his little arms.....i mean wings ~grin~.
Remember to get the little bags of Turkey parts out of Luke cause they don't belong in him during the cooking process....at least not in the bag anyway.

Step 5:Now it's time to do the little turkey dances LOL you know you want to.
Just spread his wings and dance on the counter top....LA LA LA LA LA LA.
Geeez he sure can dance.

Step 6:Ok now i always use the oven bags LOL cause it makes cleaning the roaster pan a whole lot easier.
I also just love those little pop up thingys that you can buy to stick into your bird to tell you it's done.

Step 7:Follow the directions on your oven bag box cause they are pretty accurate.....as long as your oven is right LOL.

Step 8:I slip Luke into the bag and add some water and butter you can add about anything you would like.

Step 9:Now you pop Luke into the oven.....bye Luke ~pout~.
Then sit down in front of the Webtv and surf away remembering to check on Luke from time to time.

Step 10:

HAVE A VERY HAPPY
THANKSGIVING

-WARNING-
This Page was just in fun and you should not use Dove bar soap or any other soap on your bird.
Unless you like the taste of soap then go for it dude or dudette.
