Dear Diary,
Ok i've had the kids hide some coins out in the yard in the snow......Yes i said SNOW!
I gave them a pocket full of change and i tracked down about half of the coins.
Hmmm i wonder where the rest are???
I also wonder where they found all their candy????
( Note to myself ) use pennies instead of dimes,nickles,& quarters when the kids hide coins.
I found out something really important today and that is,wear the sneakers and not the steel toed boots.
I was set to all metal mode and found my boots LOL.
I was getting a false beep and found that it was my boots :-(
And sorry hun but the kids are right about someone stealing some of the silver wear.LOL

Dear Diary,
I've got all of my home work done about an amusement park that was abandoned.
It was one of the biggest amusement parks in the area.
A flash flood wiped it out in 1919 while there were people there.
It was rebuilt and up and running when it was hit with another flash flood.
You think they should of got another opinion before rebuilding???
Anyway i have old photos and partial maps of the park of where the concession stands were and the rides.
My grandpa showed me pictures when i was a kid and i'm glad i still have my memory LOL.
I use to hunt rabbit there when i was young and remember sitting on old foundations and when i told my grandpa he told me all about the park.
I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas morning LOL.
If the weather would just warm up and get rid of this Snow.
The ground being froze doesn't help either ;-(
Oh and hun?.....i found your silverwear in the neighbors sand box....strange that the crooks the kids talked about would hide the stuff there.

Dear Diary, I got off of work and raced home grabbed the boat and launched it so fast i almost forgot to put the plug in. OK OK So i forgot the plug.....Geeeeez. I at least had a spare in the tool box ~grin~ LOL OK I forgot the tool box and had to run home and get it but the boat did'nt sink......IT DID'NT!...Geeez almost though. I headed out to raid the beaches before the sun went down. I hit the first beach i saw......OK OK So did'nt see it but i hit it anyway.......%$$#$##^& High water. Anyway i went to beach number 2 and yes i did see that one and beached the boat like a regular Popeye the sailor man. I started by working a grid pattern and set to all metal.....HOLY COW there's a lot of pop tops. But i kept it on all metal just to play a bit. Where did all these dang nails come from???? I now have enough nails to build that dream house i always wanted LOL. By now i was going onto about an hour of searching and yes i brought a trash bag that weighs more than me now when i finally gave in and switched to notch. Then BINGO! in 2 steps i hit a good target. I dropped to my knees and prayed to god PUUULEASE don't let this be more junk. Then as i dug Whew a QUARTER my first real find......Geeeeez i felt like running home to the wife LOL. But i came to my senses and figured i better do better than a Quarter with this 300 and some dollar detector. I took a few more steps and BEEEP! Ok this is getting way more cooler and i dug up another Quarter....Far out,at this pace i'll pay for this detector by April LOL. By the time the sun started to set i found in about 4 hours $2.16. But i also found a beer cap that Elvis screwed off at a 7-11 store and some how it found it's way to this beach.....How cool is that ROTFLOL......Ok so i'm dreaming LOL.
