Over the past year my online diary has taken on a life of it's own. Instead of wondering what I would write about, I just wrote without too much thought. Taking my conscious self out of it. As a result I began to find new means and modes of self-expression that were truer to who I am.

The next eighteen pages contain pieces that have previously been published in my diary at orchidbau.com and six new stories written specifically for this book.

Even though they were written independently of each other they have formed a whole - created a network like a web spun.

I hope that you enjoy them.... that you see yourself reflected in these expressions... that they are true to you and your experience...
