Show Format

SEGMENT #1: Show opens with the cast taking part in a song and dance number called "It's a Great, Great Feeling."

SEGMENT #2: Tyrone Power introduces a skit based on the Humphrey Bogart film "The Desperate Hours." Judy Holliday stars as an intrusive neighbor who is oblivious to the fact that her neighbors are being held hostage in their own home by escaped criminals. Also features George Irving and Janet Blair.

SEGMENT #3: Tyrone Power introduces a skit in which Judy Holliday sings a comic song in a variety of styles (opera, South American, pop, etc.)

SEGMENT #4: Tyrone Power introduces a skit featuring The Bairds & their Marionettes. It's a take-off on the Edward R. Murrow program "Person to Person" called "Puppet to Puppet." A cigarette-smoking dog named "Edward R. Bow Wow" interviews a family of squirrels living on the grounds of The White House.

SEGMENT #5: Tyrone Power introduces a musical skit about a jingle writing contest winner. Janet Blair plays the lucky winner who entertains the board of directors of "Mother's Marmalade" with the song "I Love to Rhyme." Also features George Irving.

SEGMENT #6: Tyrone Power introduces Kay Starr. Starr sings "Side by Side," "If You Love Me (Really Love Me)," "Love Ain't Right," "Where, What or When?" and a shortened version of "Wheel of Fortune."

SEGMENT #7: Tyrone Power introduces a skit about baseball called "Take Me Out of the Ball Game." Judy Holliday, Janet Blair and Barbara Baxley star as a trio of disgruntled wives commiserating about their lives while watching their husbands play baseball.

SEGMENT #8: Tyrone Power introduces the audience to a "country shindig," a dance number performed by Rod Alexander & Bambi Linn. Humorist Herb Shriner sings "What Part of Indiana Do You Come From?" and shows some "home movies" about growing up in Indiana.

SEGMENT #9: Tyrone Power, Kay Starr, Judy Holliday and Janet Blair perform the song and dance number "Chattanooga Choo-Choo."
