Show Format
SEGMENT #1: Judy Holliday does the opening monologue about "spectacular" ways they could have openned the show. The suggested themes (college, show biz, South American, etc.) are each illustrated with short dance sequences. Judy does an impression of Marilyn Monroe near the end of the monologue. SEGMENT #2: Skit featuring Dick Shawn as tempermental tenor "Mario Dario" who has lost his ability to sing. George Irving plays Dario's agent. Robert Gallagher plays the Hotel owner. George Kluge plays a Walter Winchell type reporter.
SEGMENT #3: Judy Holliday introduces a musical skit called "Whatever Lola Wants Lola Gets." It is centered around an office party and is performed by Rod Alexander & Bambi Linn.
SEGMENT #4: Skit starring Judy Holliday as a talkative dumb blonde who visits an art museum. George Irving plays an artist who is trying to paint a reproduction of "The Blue Boy," but Holliday keeps distracting him.
SEGMENT #5: Skit called "There You Are." A take-off on the show "You Are There," focusing on "The Capture of the Thief of Babylon...June 8, 1207." Dick Shawn stars as the Thief and Judy Holliday appears as anchorwoman "Judy Cronkwood." Also features George Irving, George Kluge, Robert Gallagher and Don Pardo.
SEGMENT #6: Skit starring Judy Holliday as a series of women throughout the ages (cavewoman to modern) in search of the perfect hat. Beatrice Arthur narrates the segment.
SEGMENT #7: Live from Hollywood, Frank Sinatra (making his first ever appearance on a color televison show) sings "I'm Gonna Live Till I Die," "When Your Lover Has Gone," "Learnin' the Blues" and "Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams." Sinatra also takes part in a skit with Peggy Castle. Castle plays a psychologist trying to find out why women swoon over Sinatra.
SEGMENT #8: Judy Holliday closes the show by performing a song and dance number called "A Razz-A-Matazz."
