COLUMBIA'S CONTRACT PLAYERS

Written on Government letterhead, this is a list of the contract players that were currently being employed by Columbia Pictures as of May 28, 1951. It was obtained through a confidential source and passed on to J. Edgar Hoover and L.B. Nichols by the Special Agent in Charge of the Los Angeles office. It seems out of place in the Holliday file when compared to the rest of the documents, all of which deal specifically with her and her actions.

Whenever there is a list of names, the FBI adds diagonal slashes over the names of certain individuals. On this list, only 3 of the 39 names clearly do not have slashes over them. They are: Scotty Beckett, Robert Cummings and Rita Hayworth. Another 3 (Gene Autry, Hugh Herbert and Donna Reed) may or may not be slashed, it's too hard to tell. Part of the line from the names above and/or below them are touching their names.
