THE NEW YORK REPORT
In response to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover's request, The New York Office put together this summary of the information they had gathered on Judy Holliday. One ironic event noted in the report is that the FBI placed an anonymous phone call to an answering service (Bells Are Ringing) to find out if she was in California filming Born Yesterday.
Toward the end of this report, a mention is made of Paul Robeson and "The Peekskill Riots" but they do not go into detail about it. I have found a very good Internet site put together by Marilyn Elie that details what went on and the background leading up to the riots.
