`THE LOS ANGELES REPORT`

In compliance with J. Edgar Hoover's "request," the Los Angeles Office conducted its own investigation of Judy Holliday while she was in Hollywood filming Born Yesterday. Page five of this report states that they have turned up "no positive evidence of membership in the Communist Party," and that they have chosen to officially close the investigation.
