Mary Kathryn Brown was born Oct.2, 1965. Kathy graduated from NMSHS and Barry College. She was a dancer in a junior ballet company and sang harmony in the NM Chorus Ensemble. She is a systems administrator with the city of San Francisco.
In 1988 I moved to Hallandale and eventually to Pembroke Pines, where I live now. I began to learn china painting back in 1979 and became a porcelain artist, selling some of my work now and then. Since all of my painting buddies have moved away, I do very little painting anymore. I enjoy attending NMHS reunions when I can, and keeping up with former students. It was an honor and a privilege to have worked with such wonderful young men and women and I treasure the friendship of many who have kept in touch.
