Old Pioneers have gathered once more
To remember the fun of some days gone before.
We met in Miami to board a large liner
With weather superbā--"there was nothing finer!
Some folks were not known to each other in the past
But they forged new friendships that are certain to last.
Everyone talking at once as old friendships renewing
Where do you live now? what have you been doing?
Hugging and laughing and a few happy tears
Catching up all at once all that happened in years.
Three lazy days of dining, singing and chatting till hoarse
And some snorkeled and hammocked and rode a jetski course.
Final evening we talked and showed photos--including The Skipper
And watched movies of Marcia, Joanne, Leslie and Flipper!
We pray for good health look toward number FIFTY
Who knows, we young-- Pioneers might even make SIXTY!
