Did America Abandon Vietnam War POWs?
by Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Sydney Schanberg

Please take time to read about the unusual story of my adopted POW/MIA Henry Muir Serex who may have survived as a prisoner of war. You will be deeply touched by his story. You will feel his pain as he expected to be rescued by his country that abandoned him. As Americans we must not allow this to happen.

We must bring them all home.

It is the soldier, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the soldier who salutes the flag,
who serves under the flag,

and whose coffin is draped by the flag,
who allows the protestor to burn the flag.
