ELISHA was born in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island 29 May 1733.
The son of John Saunders and Read Pendleton
He died in the latter part 1760 at the age of 27, before his daughter was born.
He married ELIZABETH CHASE in Westerly 17 May 1758.
She was born in Westerly 15 Dec 1736.
Daughter of Oliver Chase and Elizabeth Cleveland.
She died Sep 1778.
They had two children:
1. LUKE SAUNDERS born in Westerly 1 Dec 1759.
Died in Brookfield, Madison County, NewYork 29 Apr 1809.
2. SILVESTER SAUNDERS born in Westerly 27 Jan 1761.
She died in Brookfield, New York 24 Dec. 1836.
She is buried in the Beebe Cemetery
She married THOMAS WEBSTER KENYON 30 Nov 1780 in Richmond, Washington County, Rhode Island.

ELIZABETH married JAMES W. CRANDALL in Westerly 6 Jun 1768.
Son of Joseph Crandall and Ann Langworthy.
On 4 Sep 1778 she had twins, Fanny and Nancy Crandall.
Elizabeth died shortly after they were born.
