Aren't love letters wonderful? They're reminders of our loved ones that can make us feel like they are close by, even if we can't see them and touch them.

God's Word, the Holy Bible, is God's love letter to us. It tells us how much He loves us and shows us how to love Him and how to love others. And we can read it whenever we want to. Let's look at some Bible verses on the subject of

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13.

"God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us [made us alive] together with Christ." Ephesians 2:4-5.

"... the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." Romans 5:5b.

"God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8.

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." I John 4:10.

I Corinthians 13 (the "love" chapter)

"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." I John 4:8.

"This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you." John 15:12.

"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth." I John 3:18.

"We love him [God] because He first loved us." I John 4:10.

"If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us." I John 4:23.

"Owe no man anthing but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law." Romans 13:8-10

"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" I John 4:20"
