Cutting Directions for Making 6-point Paper Snowflakes

I was particularly happy to find these instructions for 6-point snowflakes. I learned to make these when I was a kid in Buffalo, NY, and in my subsequent travels, I've not run into anyone else who knew how to make them. The folding directions here are a little different from what I learned, but they are just as good if not better, and they result in a real 6-point snowflake. By varying your cuts, you can make an almost unlimited variety of paper snowflakes, of any size. They are wonderful for decorating and can be kept indefinitely by covering them with clear contact paper.
