Flags Raised In Victory Over Luichow The U.S.(Stars and Stripes) and Chinese flags are raised in victory over the city of Luichow,China on August 6th, 1945. The former U.S. Army Air Force Base was recaptured from the Japanese on June 6, 1945. Luichow was the first of nine former 14th Air Force bases retaken from the Japanese by July 27th, 1945
