INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

To install the Hood Pin Lanyards on HIGHWAY 61 Challengers, Darts, and RC/ERTL Authentics 1964 Ford Thunderbolts you simply open the hood, place the large end of the Lanyard over the Hood Pin, close the hood, put the small end of the Lanyard into the Clevis, and install the Clevis into the Hood Pin. On the HWY 61 CUDA, you first open the hood, then insert a small precision screwdriver or flat toothpick between the top of the grille and the valance, then insert the Lanyard in the resulting opening. As you push it in you will see the large end come up by the radiator. Then place the large end over the hood pin, close the hood, put the small end into the Clevis, and install the Clevis into the Hood Pin.
