Randy's Minolta SRT Collection

Minolta SRT AD

Hello, my name is Randy Jay and this is my Minolta SRT collection. I have more than is pictured but it makes no sense to post pics of duplicates. This website is under construction, and I plan on adding pages for my XD's, XE's, XG's, and my X Series also.
Please click on the Thumbnails on the left to see the full sized image. Model information will be added to these images soon

Minolta SRT Advertisment

Minolta SRT

The Minolta SRT Series was introduced in 1965 with the SRT-101 and ended in 1984 with the SRT-201c. Minolta produced certain models of their SLRs under different names for the US, European, and Asian markets. An example of this, is the SRT-102 sold as the SRT-303 in Europe and the SRT Super in Asia...the SRT-200 was also marketed as the SRT-100x, and the SRT-202 as the SR-505. Minolta continued this practice into the Third Generation "X" Series SLRs. Minolta produced a series of SRTs for sale in SEARS as the SRT-SC (srt-100) and SRT-SCII (srt-200), KMART as the SRT-MC (srt-100) and SRT-MCII (srt-101), and models for J.C. Penney also. Some features such as Mirror Lockup and Depth of Field Lock were removed from newer models. I started to collect Minolta SRTs (on the camera it's sr-T) in the 1980s. I now have over 30 of the series in my collection. The Minolta SRT is a tank of a camera, and has a history of exemplary performance around the world. I'll be adding more photos and advertisments as I scan them. Thank you for looking.
