This tutorial will create the framing effect you see above.This was inspired by a friends of mine work that you can check here.

You will need:
PSP 8
Eyecandy4000 (optional)
(you can use eyecandy 3 by just adjusting the settings slightly.

This zip file containing my watercolor script-place in your restricted script folder...and my eyecandy4000 settings (jdg glass overcoat)-place in you eyecandy4000>eyecandy4000 settings>glass folder...

1).Open image.

2).Selections>select all.

3).selections>modify>Select selection borders. check inside and anti-alias I'm using 35 for border width...the border should be thick...

4).Effects>3D effects>Drop Shadow with these settings...Offset Vertical-9, Horizontal-(-1), Attributes Opacity-57 Blur-1, Color-Black.

5).Image>Image rotate>rotate clockwise90-repeat the drop shadow.

6).Repeat step 5.

7).Repeat step 5.

8).Rotate on last time to return the picture to it's original position.

9). Keep selected and run the script downloaded above...this script is different from the one I sent to several yahoo groups in that I altered the position of the floodfill so as to work within the frame.

10).Selection>invert selection

11).Effects>3D effects>Cut-out with these settings Offset Vertical-5 Horizontal-5 Opacity-100, Blur 16.85.

12).Repeat the cut-out changing the vertical and horizontal to -(negative)5.

13).Selections>Invert selections.

14).Effects>3D Effects>Inner Bevel. Apply these settings...Bevel #5 Width 15, Image- Smoothness-0 Depth-35, Ambience-9, Shinniness-44 Light: Color-White Angle-0, Intensity-36, Elevation-50.

You can at this time deselect and save... or (if you have EyeCandy4000)-invert the selection and apply the glass settings (included in the download-jdg_glass_overcoat.) to the inner picture.
